AXIOMA, an American dark metal band, seamlessly blends elements of post, death, and extreme metal. Since their formation in 2015, the lineup has included guitarist Cyril Blandino, bassist/vocalist Aaron Dallison, drummer Nick Amato, and guitarist J Meyers. Their latest project, the “Live Totality” EP, captures a mesmerizing fourteen-minute instrumental doom piece recorded live during the solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, along the shores of Lake Erie. The EP also features three additional tracks that highlight the band’s unique approach to intense, dark metal.
“Live Totality” is available for purchase on LP and in digital formats via the AXIOMA Bandcamp page HERE.

As described by No Clean Singing: “From those dissonant and emotionally fracturing sounds, it’s easy to imagine a nightmare of the sun blotted out forever, perpetually frozen in place behind the moon. But the sky brightens again; the musical catastrophe slowly spends itself; rough tones pulsate, and then vanish; the music becomes slow, gentle, and grieving again…”
