Exciting news from Hot Milk! They’ve just announced their new album, “Corporation P.O.P,” which will be released on June 27 through Music For Nations. You can pre-order it now! Their first single, “90 Seconds To Midnight,” is already out and comes with an exciting video featuring British legend Frank Skinner. Be sure to watch and listen!
The single is described by singer Han Mee as capturing the sense of urgency with “the doomsday clock nearing midnight.” Expect a bold, in-your-face track inspired by philosopher Rousseau and poet John Betjeman, as she explains: “We wanted to punch you proper in the face with this, this balls to the wall little riffy boy comes bounding at you relentlessly.”
The album, produced by Jim Shaw, Zach Jones, and KJ Strock, showcases the band at their heaviest. Their lyrics are raw, offering sharp social commentary while maintaining their signature humor. Jim Shaw shares insight into the album’s theme, describing it as “a flurry of thoughts, feelings, ramblings from the afters n questions about where we’re at right now.”
Hot Milk recorded the album both in Salford and L.A., capturing the essence of their live performances. “We wanted to bring it home,” says Mee, highlighting that the visuals were shot in their Salford backyards.
The album is available for pre-order in various formats, such as Color LP, Band Store Exclusive LP, and CD. Fans who pre-order from the official store by March 4 can gain presale access to the tour.
Speaking of tours, Hot Milk has also announced a string of performances across the UK and the US this spring and summer. They will hit several cities, including Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, and Los Angeles, culminating with festival appearances at Warped Tour and Louder Than Life Festival.
