February 28th, 2025 – The resurgence of Molotov Solution is full steam ahead. After over a decade, they are releasing new music, with their latest work, the ‘Void’ EP, produced by the talented Will Putney. This five-track collection is ready to make a significant impact upon its release on March 21st.
Kicking off this exciting new chapter, Molotov Solution presents “Necessary Evil.” This powerful anthem delves into the concept of confronting darkness with darkness. You can listen to the track and check out the lyric video right now.
The ‘Void’ EP stakes Molotov Solution’s claim as leaders in the heavy music scene. Rooted in their storied history yet poised for the future, the EP expands on their previous trilogy of singles, delivering new tracks that challenge the genre’s boundaries.
Following their visually striking trilogy – “Devour The Children,” “Mortis Imperium,” and “The Golden Tower” – the song “Necessary Evil” captures the savage reality that sometimes battling corruption means embracing it. Vocally relentless and powerful, the song captures the complex moral questions it tackles. As Nick Arthur, the band’s vocalist, remarks:
“With ‘Necessary Evil,’ we return to form with a relentless assault, embodying the brutality of confronting darkness with darkness. Intense riffs, punishing drum grooves, and unyielding heaviness collide to forge a sound both nostalgic and merciless. This track channels the weight of moral compromise in the pursuit of justice, proving that sometimes the only way to destroy evil is to descend into it.”
Part of their upcoming EP, ‘Void,’ releasing on March 21st, the track joins three previous singles and a new, unreleased song, showcasing their most intense and fearless work yet. The EP’s artwork, crafted by Lena Richter, effectively represents the blend of occult and surveillance themes, underscoring the controlling forces the band critiques.
Molotov Solution emerged with “Insurrection” in 2011, setting a high bar for politically driven deathcore music. After a decade of silence, they have returned with renewed intensity. The ‘Void’ EP represents the next phase of their evolution, maintaining the ferocity of their past yet elevating it to a more dangerous edge. The fight is far from over.
