Philadelphia punk rockers The Bad Ups have just released a video for their latest single, “Better Than You,” off their debut album Life of Sin, now available via Jump Start Records. Blending classic 90s and early 2000s punk vibes from Epitaph and Fat Wreck Chords with ska and reggae influences, The Bad Ups offer a fresh yet familiar sound that channels the energy of iconic bands like Bad Brains.

Formed in 2018, this four-piece band, fronted by Travis McKayle, has made waves in the punk scene, performing alongside heavyweights like Face to Face and The Bouncing Souls. Their name, rooted in Jamaican patois, reflects the intensity and cultural depth of their music. With Life of Sin now out, the band is hitting the road for a national and international tour.
