T.S.O.L.

When T.S.O.L. took over the stage to close out the night, they did so with the power and confidence of punk rock veterans. The iconic band commanded the room, delivering a high-energy set. Their rebellious spirit and undeniable stage presence had the crowd hooked from the start, and as they powered through hit after hit, the atmosphere became electric. T.S.O.L. reminded everyone why they’ve remained a punk rock staple for over four decades, leaving the audience in awe as they brought the night to an explosive close.
T.S.O.L. (True Sounds of Liberty) has been shaking up the punk scene since 1978, and they’re not slowing down. The band, formed in Long Beach, CA, has weathered lineup changes, record label collapses, and the ever-shifting music industry. But through it all, they’ve stayed true to their rebellious roots.
The band’s latest release, A-Side Graffiti, dropped on February 27, 2024, via Kitten Robot Records, and it’s turning heads. The album mixes punk rock energy with unexpected covers and creative twists. Tracks like “Swimming” and “Low-Low-Low” bring that West Coast punk edge, while “Rhythm of Cruelty” dips into goth rock vibes. T.S.O.L. even delivers a killer version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s “Sweet Transvestite,” featuring punk legend Keith Morris (Circle Jerks, OFF).
But it’s not just covers that stand out. Original songs like “Ghost Train” and “Never Go Home” are sure to become fan favorites, blending punk with a touch of ’80s new wave. And for fans who love the unexpected, the band’s cover of Amerie’s “1 Thing” adds a funky groove to the album.
T.S.O.L. has always been about more than just the music—they’re about making statements. Their cover of Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” adds a darker twist, with Grisham rewriting the lyrics to question just how wonderful the world really is. It’s a thought-provoking take that fits perfectly with the band’s ethos.
After more than four decades, T.S.O.L. is still defying expectations. With A-Side Graffiti, they’ve created an album that’s as bold, unpredictable, and powerful as ever. Don’t miss this punk rock gem—it’s one of the most exciting releases of the year.
Catch A-Side Graffiti on all major platforms now, and stay tuned for tour dates—you won’t want to miss this punk rock force in action!
