The band describes the single as an ambitious attempt to craft “the most violent emo song possible,” with intense breakdowns and a blend of heavy riffs and stunning vocals that morph into raw screams within the chorus. This song narrates the emotional turmoil of a tragic love story ending and the contemplation of suicide from the affected individual’s perspective.

About TSS:

TSS’s journey began with their debut single “The Wrong Way” in December 2017, followed by the impactful “Lost In The Crowd” in May 2018, which set the stage for their first live show opening for Asking Alexandria in Paris. Their evolving sound incorporated synthwave and retrowave elements with singles like “Someone,” establishing John as a second lead vocalist.

Their self-titled EP, released in May 2019 and highlighted by the single “Damn I Hate It,” captivated fans with its innovative blend of funk, synthwave, and emo, leading to a sold-out show in Paris. With time, the band’s music began incorporating French lyrics, bringing forth singles like “YAYAYA” and leading to collaborations with major labels.

In 2021, TSS rebranded, marking the transition with the single “1996.” Their sound continues to evolve, as seen in modern metalcore tracks like “Tes Pleurs” in 2023, inspired by the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and Poppy. Their experimental nature led to the viral success of “Fantasize” in August 2023, a remarkable fusion of alternative rock, J-rock, phonk, and metal.

With “Would You Be My Therapy?” reaching the top of iTunes rock charts and catching significant industry attention, TSS signed with Fearless Records in 2024. Their rise through innovation and genre-blending continues to expand their influence in the modern metal scene, attracting fans from varied musical backgrounds.
