Florida deathcore band set to release their EP ‘Moments of Misery’ on November 8, drop new video for “No Mercy, No Remorse”

Blue Grape Music has just made a big addition to its lineup by signing Orlando’s very own deathcore powerhouse, Heavy//Hitter. This brutal four-piece, made up of Austin Hayes (vocals), Dane Loeprich (guitar), Chris Perez (bass), and Josh Archeval (drums), is gearing up to release their latest five-song EP, Moments of Misery, on November 8th.
But before the EP hits, Heavy//Hitter has already unleashed their crushing new single “No Mercy, No Remorse” with an accompanying music video. This track delivers an intense punch, bringing the energy that fans of mosh pits and headbanging crave. Frontman Austin Hayes describes the song as a revenge anthem, “It’s about getting back at someone who betrayed you. There’s no mercy or remorse—you take back everything they took from you.” Watch the video, if you dare.
The track listing for Moments of Misery promises even more bone-crushing intensity:
Deposition of Violence
Dead End

Formed in 2019, Heavy//Hitter quickly gained underground recognition, making waves with their 2021 EP Street Violence. Their relentless work ethic and explosive sound earned them praise from outlets like Lambgoat and Lawnchair Youth. With a growing fanbase and electrifying performances, they caught the attention of Blue Grape Music, leading to their recent signing.
Austin Hayes shared the band’s journey: “Before I started this band, I quit music for five years. I tried college, managing a Domino’s, working construction—nothing felt right. When I got back into music with Dane, I knew I couldn’t give up on this band. We always want more, and we’re not stopping anytime soon.”
Their upcoming EP Moments of Misery was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Austin Coupe. Drawing influences from bands like Suicide Silence, Knocked Loose, and Carnifex, the EP fuses OG deathcore with elements of hardcore and metalcore, creating a heavy, modern sound that stays true to their roots. “We put our emotions into this record,” Hayes explains. “We’re not a machine; we’re human. And we want you to feel that.”
With their raw, authentic approach, Heavy//Hitter is ready to make their mark on the metal scene. If you’re into honest, no-holds-barred deathcore, this is one band you don’t want to miss.
