The track previews Empty On The Inside, the band’s October 23 album for Metal Blade Records, alongside a newly announced Nashville release show.
ENTHEOS has shared “Undone,” the latest single from the band’s forthcoming full-length album, Empty On The Inside, due October 23, 2026 through Metal Blade Records.
The song arrives with an accompanying music video and offers another preview of an album built around themes of identity, darkness and the struggle to recover from personal collapse. It follows the previously released “Golden Crown” and marks one of the clearest signs yet that ENTHEOS is broadening its sonic palette beyond the technical and progressive metal framework long associated with the project.
For vocalist Chaney Crabb, “Undone” centers on the moment a person realizes they have become someone they once feared becoming.
“‘Undone’ is a dark, visceral song that’s about the confrontation of the guilt that you’ve become the person you always feared you’d be,” Crabb said. “It’s the grief of realizing that you cannot turn back time and change the things you’ve destroyed. Lyrically, it’s incredibly raw and we feel that musically, it matches the lyrical content perfectly.”
That emotional weight is paired with a more pronounced industrial influence, something the band had been interested in exploring for some time.
“We’ve wanted to experiment with more of an industrial sound for a long time and writing this song came incredibly naturally to us,” Crabb added. “Though it may be one that surprises people who listen to our band, it’s one of the most ‘true to ourselves’ songs we’ve ever written. We can’t wait to expand even more in this sonic territory.”
That shift gives “Undone” a particularly important place within Empty On The Inside. While ENTHEOS remains rooted in technical musicianship and progressive arrangements, the new album was created through a more collaborative process involving the full lineup.
Crabb and multi-instrumentalist Navene Koperweis are joined on the record by guitarists Michael Stancel and Scott Carstairs, with the writing and recording process placing greater emphasis on the band functioning as a unified creative group rather than centering primarily on individual technical performances.
According to the band, the album’s broader concept deals with losing one’s sense of self while confronting hopelessness and questioning whether returning to a former version of oneself is even possible.
“The album is about losing yourself in darkness, confronting that hopelessness and wondering if there’s any way back to being the person you used to be,” ENTHEOS explained.
Across ten tracks, Empty On The Inside is positioned to balance ENTHEOS’ established technical intensity with a stronger focus on melody, hooks and more concise songwriting. “Undone” adds another dimension through its industrial elements, showing how the band is using the album to stretch beyond familiar territory without abandoning the precision that has defined its work.
The record was produced by Mark Lewis, whose credits include The Black Dahlia Murder, Fallujah and Whitechapel, and mastered by Justin Sturtz at Sterling Sound. Artwork for the release was created by Zac Shiffer.
The album will also feature a guest appearance from Michael Lessard on “Tomblight.”
Alongside the album release, ENTHEOS has announced a special release-day performance in Nashville. The band will play The ’58 at Eastside Bowl on October 23 with Knoll, Dissonation and Vaelravyn. Additional live dates are expected to be announced separately.
The Nashville show follows ENTHEOS’ North American touring earlier in 2026 with Jinjer and gives the band a dedicated live event tied directly to the launch of Empty On The Inside.
The album will be released digitally and on CD, with several vinyl variants also planned through Metal Blade Records, regional editions and a band-exclusive pressing.
