The new single brings the Slipknot and System of a Down vocalists together on the same track for the first time, alongside a Jensen Noen-directed video.
Falling In Reverse have released “Joseph,” bringing Ronnie Radke together with Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor and System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian for the band’s latest collaboration.
The single marks Falling In Reverse’s first new song in more than a year and, according to the announcement, represents the first time Taylor and Tankian have appeared together on the same song. Both guest vocalists also appear in the accompanying music video, directed by Jensen Noen.
“Joseph” takes its name from Radke’s middle name, adding a personal connection between the track’s title and the Falling In Reverse frontman.
While bringing Taylor and Tankian together gives “Joseph” an especially notable lineup, high-profile collaborations have become an increasingly visible part of Falling In Reverse’s recent output.
The band previously released “God Is A Weapon,” featuring Marilyn Manson. According to promotional materials accompanying “Joseph,” that single has since accumulated 350 million streams and gained additional attention through TikTok.
That release followed another major collaboration from Falling In Reverse’s 2024 era. “All My Life,” featuring Jelly Roll, spent five weeks at No. 1 on rock radio and debuted at No. 1 across multiple Billboard hard rock charts, according to the band’s announcement. The song also held the top position on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart for 11 weeks.
Both tracks form part of a broader period in which Falling In Reverse have continued pairing their genre-blending approach with artists from markedly different corners of heavy and mainstream music. With “Joseph,” however, the collaboration draws directly from two of modern heavy music’s most recognizable vocalists.
Taylor’s work with Slipknot and Tankian’s role in System of a Down have given each vocalist an immediately identifiable presence within heavy music. Putting both voices on one Falling In Reverse track gives “Joseph” a crossover between three distinct acts rather than treating either guest appearance as a standalone feature.
The single also follows Falling In Reverse’s 2024 album Popular Monster. According to figures supplied with the announcement, the album has accumulated four billion streams and is approaching platinum certification.
Rather than announcing another full-length project alongside “Joseph,” Falling In Reverse are currently presenting the track as a standalone single. The release continues the band’s recent pattern of individual songs and prominent collaborations following Popular Monster.
The Jensen Noen-directed video extends the collaboration visually, with Taylor and Tankian appearing alongside the song rather than limiting their involvement to recorded guest vocals.
With “Joseph,” Falling In Reverse’s latest chapter centers less on the sheer number of recognizable names attached to the song and more on a pairing heavy music had not previously heard on the same recording: Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian sharing a track.
