Conquer Divide have unveiled their newest single, “Bad Dreams,” featuring Michigan metalcore icons Of Virtue. This release anticipates their upcoming tour dates in the U.K. and Europe.

The song highlights Conquer Divide’s talent for blending lush, captivating vocals and hooks with intense musical and lyrical depth. This introspective piece is elevated by the powerful melodic-to-raging contributions from Of Virtue’s vocalists, Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate.
Guitarist Izzy Johnson shares insights into the song’s personal nuances: “We are stoked to bring the next era of Conquer Divide with our new song ‘Bad Dreams,’ featuring Of Virtue. Lyrically, it touches on the feeling of wanting nothing more than to succeed but being sabotaged by your own thoughts. Analysis paralysis is real and creates cycles that sometimes feel unbreakable, something that we have all individually experienced. Just like our other songs ‘Paralyzed,’ ‘Pressure,’ and ‘N E W H E A V E N’ (that also have introspective themes), we hope this song is something our listeners can relate to and find comfort in. Big thanks to the guys in Of Virtue who made the song come alive, we are blessed to create music alongside such talent.”
Of Virtue’s Tyler Ennis also expresses excitement: “I’ve been a fan of Conquer Divide ever since I heard ‘Messy.’ It’s an absolute honor being asked to bring both our bands together on their newest single and we’re excited for it to finally be released!”
Recently, Conquer Divide celebrated notable success with two recordings on the US Active Rock format. Their updated version of “Paralyzed” (featuring Attack Attack!) marked the band’s first Billboard chart entry, and their re-release of 10 Years’ “The Optimist,” featuring Kia from Conquer Divide, followed ahead of a joint U.S. tour in October.
In January 2025, Conquer Divide plans to return to Europe and the UK for a tour with New Years Day, running from January 21 to February 1. They will then join Ankor starting February 7 in Cologne, with performances across Germany, The Netherlands, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, concluding on March 16 in Kortrijk, Belgium.
The Deluxe Edition of their latest album, “Slow Burn”, was released digitally last September, featuring six additional recordings, including three from Sirius XM Octane’s Next Wave Concert Series: “Bad Guy,” “Atonement,” and “Paralyzed.” This edition also features collaborations such as “Paralyzed (Featuring Attack Attack!),” alongside “Only Girl” (Acoustic), and “80 Proof.”
Originating from the U.S., U.K., and Canada, Conquer Divide has evolved from their melodic metalcore roots to a robust hard rock powerhouse, approaching their first decade together. In 2020, they returned to the studio with 2x Grammy-nominated producer Tyler Smyth (Falling in Reverse, I Prevail) and 4x RIAA gold record producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men) to work on “Slow Burn”.
“Slow Burn” garnered numerous playlist features, including All New Metal, Rock Hard, The Core, Heavy Queens, Kickass Metal, New Nu, and more. The band received extensive airplay on BBC Radio 1, along with playlist placements on Kerrang! Radio, Kerrang! TV, and Primordial Radio. The song “Paralyzed” was celebrated as one of Metal Hammer’s 2023 tracks of the year, with the album among the ‘Albums of the Year.’ Support from outlets like Rock Sound, Distorted Sound, Alternative Press, Revolver, GuitarWorld, SXM Octane, and Loudwire has contributed to over 40 million cumulative streams of the album.
