Extreme Unveils Ninth Video “Save Me” from Album SIX

Extreme has just released their ninth video, “Save Me,” from their critically acclaimed album SIX, which dropped in June 2023 via earMUSIC. Known for their versatility, the band has continuously surprised fans with diverse tracks and visuals from the record, showcasing their ability to evolve.

Following the powerful first single “Rise” and the laid-back vibe of “Beautiful Girls,” “Save Me” adds yet another layer to the band’s creative journey. Directed by SIMPLEXITY PICTURES—Nuno Bettencourt and Rene Rigal—the video brings an intense and claustrophobic visual experience, reflecting the song’s deep emotional weight.

“This video was shot with a very claustrophobic feel to show the raw emotion of the heavy subject matter of the song,” Bettencourt explains. “We wanted to capture the psychological battle that many of us face, the whispers and screams in our heads as we cope with life’s challenges.”

Check out the “Save Me” video and stream SIX to experience their latest evolution.

Gary Cherone’s haunting vocals act as the dark narrator, drawing listeners into a mental struggle, while Nuno’s signature guitar solo takes the tension to its peak. The video ends in a dark space, yet the message is one of hope, with Bettencourt emphasizing, “You are not alone. There’s always someone to call when all seems hopeless.”

SIX has been a creative high point for Extreme, and with nine stunning videos already out, the band shows no signs of slowing down.
