Transcontinental deathcore collective Face Yourself has officially released their new EP titled “Martyr” through Sumerian Records. Working alongside renowned producer Joey Sturgis, known for his work with Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, and The Devil Wears Prada, Face Yourself has crafted an EP that masterfully blends bone-crushing breakdowns with hauntingly melodic interludes. The lyrical themes reflect the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability.

To celebrate the EP’s release, Face Yourself has shared the official music video for their intense new single, “Primal.” In addition to “Primal,” the band has released ferocious singles leading up to the EP, including “Sideration” and their latest track, “Predatory.” When discussing the new release, the band stated:
“We are proud to be releasing ‘Martyr’ alongside the music video for our new single ‘Primal.’ ‘Primal’ is about the shift that happens in someone when they realize they’ve been wronged for so long and decide to finally stand up for themselves. ‘Martyr’ explores different mental health battles through the struggles, and the strength it takes to heal. This is our first EP with Sumerian Records, and we are excited to be partnering with them for these new songs. We would like to thank Joey Sturgis for also believing in this project and being a part of it.”
ABOUT FACE YOURSELF
