French grunge-metal x noise-pop quartet Undramaa has launched their debut album, ‘Print the Dirt,’ for full streaming.
Currently available exclusively on digital platforms, this album promises to be a treat for fans of Unsane, The Jesus Lizard, Melvins, Soundgarden, and Pixies.
Undramaa, a band hailing from Montpellier, France, made notable waves several weeks ago with their introductory singles, “Some Other Time” and “Reset And Resume.” Now, they are elevating their musical venture with the release of their digital-exclusive album, Print the Dirt, which is fully streamable on Bandcamp.
This album blends metal, grunge, noise, and pop melodies, establishing Undramaa’s distinct sonic identity and marking an exciting advancement for the band.
With a fusion of grunge metal, blastnoise, and pop rooted in resilience, Undramaa was founded in 2022, welcoming musicians from varied backgrounds to create a unique blend that captures their essence. The founding members—Patrice Duthoo on vocals and guitar, Christophe Sala on bass, and Vincent Villier on drums—bring influences from their past musical endeavors in bands such as Doctor Livingstone and Illegal Process. In June 2023, Elliott Villier, Vincent’s son, joined as a guitarist and backing vocalist, invigorating the band with fresh energy.

Their music is informed by personal challenges and a steadfast passion, speaking to their resilience. “‘We’re tired but love what we do,’” they express.
Undramaa’s name, combining “Undra” (meaning wonders in Icelandic) and “Maa” (meaning land in Finnish), reflects their captivating and powerful soundscape. Print the Dirt boasts ten finely crafted tracks, self-recorded and produced by the band, including drum sessions at Montpellier’s renowned Subsonic studio.
