The UK-based collective’s first full-length record features “Sleepwalker” as PRESIDENT move from their 2025 introduction into their first headline run across North America.

PRESIDENT have released their debut full-length album, Blood of Your Empire, through Atlantic Records, marking the latest step in the UK-based collective’s rapid emergence since launching the project in 2025.

Released September 4, the 10-track album includes previously introduced material alongside “Sleepwalker,” which was shared in conjunction with the record. Blood of Your Empire also features “Hate Figure,” a collaboration with Ando San.

The album’s arrival coincided with another first for PRESIDENT: the beginning of the band’s inaugural North American headline tour. The completely sold-out run opened September 4 at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville and continues through October 14, when PRESIDENT are scheduled to close the tour at House of Blues in Dallas.

The headline dates follow PRESIDENT’s first full U.S. tour earlier in 2026, when the group supported Bad Omens. The current run takes the band through more than two dozen cities in the United States and Canada, including Chicago, Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles and Houston. Showing Teeth are providing support on select dates.

While PRESIDENT have maintained a deliberately minimal public identity since emerging in 2025, Blood of Your Empireprovides a more substantial look at the ideas driving the project. The record centers on questions involving mortality, faith and the complicated role religion has played throughout human history.

“Blood Of Your Empire was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity’s relationship with faith,” President said.

The artist described the album as an attempt to examine conflicting realities surrounding religion rather than reducing the subject to a single perspective.

“Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history,” President continued. “This album lives in the tension between those two truths. Writing it became a way for me to confront the fear, confusion, and questions I’ve carried for years, and turn them into something I’m truly proud of.”

That thematic direction extends into the album’s visual presentation. The cover uses Eugène Delacroix’s painting The Battle of Poitiers, a work housed at the Louvre in Paris.

Since introducing PRESIDENT in 2025, the collective has built its identity around limited personal information and an intentionally anonymous presentation. Rather than placing individual members at the center of the project, PRESIDENT have kept the focus on the music, imagery and ideas surrounding their work.

The release of Blood of Your Empire significantly expands that foundation. What began with individual songs and live appearances has now developed into a complete 10-track album and the band’s first sold-out North American headline campaign.

With the headline tour following an earlier supporting run with Bad Omens in the same year, PRESIDENT’s 2026 schedule also represents a shift in the group’s live trajectory. Instead of introducing the project to another band’s audience, the collective is now playing its own sold-out rooms across North America.
