Taking Back Sunday

Taking Back Sunday is an influential American rock band formed in 1999 in Long Island, New York. Known for their passionate lyrics and energetic sound, the band is often associated with the early 2000s emo and post-hardcore scenes.

The band’s breakthrough came with their debut album, Tell All Your Friends, released in 2002. The album received critical acclaim and featured fan-favorite tracks like “Cute Without the ‘E’ (Cut from the Team)” and “You’re So Last Summer.” Its raw energy and heartfelt lyrics resonated with a generation of listeners, helping to define the sound of early 2000s emo music.

Taking Back Sunday continued to gain popularity with subsequent albums, including Where You Want to Be (2004) and Louder Now (2006), both of which debuted to solid sales and expanded their fanbase.
