Modern metal band TETRARCH has unveiled their intense new single, “Cold,” along with an accompanying video that you can watch HERE.
The track comes as part of their upcoming third full-length album, “The Ugly Side Of Me”, which is set to release on May 9, 2025, via Napalm Records. You can pre-order the album HERE.
With their aggressive sound and powerful melodies, TETRARCH is poised to make a significant impact with this record, showcasing razor-sharp production co-produced by Dave Otero, Diamond Rowe, and Josh Fore. Following the successful launch of their earlier singles, “Never Again (Parasite)”—hailed as “a sturdy showing of melody and muscle” by Knotfest—and “Live Not Fantasize,” which was described as “positively booming” by Revolver, the band continues to make waves with “Cold.” This melodic anthem features a captivating guitar solo from Diamond Rowe, the first female signature artist for Jackson Guitars, and delves into deep themes of self-doubt and toxic relationship cycles.

Reflecting on the creation of “Cold,” Diamond Rowe shares, “’Cold’ was one of those songs that came together pretty fast. It was one of the first songs that we wrote for the record, and once we started building the textures, leads, and vocals, it really came to life. I feel like it’s kind of a nod to our “Freak” album as it has that energetic four on the floor beat with glitchy and creepy guitar textures.”
She adds, “While writing this song, we kept throwing around the word ‘insecure.’ Insecurity is such an uncomfortable emotion to have, and it easily became the lyrical direction for this track. I also can’t wait to play this one live. I think everyone is going to go nuts.”
After four years of dedicated growth, TETRARCH is thriving with multi-millions of cross-platform streams and views for their catchy singles and dynamic music videos. They have also received significant airplay on mainstream top 40 Active Rock radio and garnered attention from major music publications like Billboard, Revolver, and Metal Hammer, while touring alongside legendary artists such as Sevendust and Atreyu.
