Bury Tomorrow Share New Single “Let Go”

Bury Tomorrow has just unveiled their latest single, “Let Go,” which serves as a powerful preview of their upcoming album, “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”, set to be released on May 16. Following an extensive touring period where they captivated audiences across the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, and Japan, the band is gearing up for an even more ambitious 2025.

“Let Go” marks the third glimpse into their new LP, and it promises to further ignite the enthusiasm of their passionate fanbase.

Listen to the track HERE.

In “Let Go,” Bury Tomorrow introduces a significant evolution in their sonic landscape while retaining their signature intensity. The song blends drum and bass beats with heavy breakdowns, featuring aggressive vocals that weave in and out of the tempo through a spoken word style, supported by anthemic choruses.

The themes of the track delve into honesty. Frontman Dani Winter-Bates notes, “Both within yourself and the people around you. To be dishonest with yourself leads to decisions based in fear and can lead to regret, while to be true to yourself can cost some of the things you hold closest.” Co-vocalist Tom Prendergast elaborates, saying, “There is a sense throughout the song that we can often give all of our energy to a toxic situation and need to recognize when to cut ties to grow. ‘Let Go’ is about how that can shape you, change you and define your choices and your path through life. There is a cost to every choice, and there are some harder to let go of than others.”

The past two years have been a period of introspection and growth for Bury Tomorrow as they navigated uncertainties, lineup changes, and challenges posed by the pandemic. The addition of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Prendergast, along with the creation of 2023’s “The Seventh Sun”, has paved the way for a fresh chapter filled with possibilities. Their new album, “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”, is being heralded as their most visceral work yet.

This album has been crafted with an unprecedented level of intimacy and complexity, with each aspect of the writing process internalized more than ever before. Produced for the first time by Carl Bown (known for his work with Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, and While She Sleeps), the result is a deeply personal and expansive record that embodies cathartic artistry.

Emerging from a collective frustration regarding the disconnection in modern society, Bury Tomorrow’s music offers a profound exploration of themes such as self-sabotage, anxiety, and the quest for peace amidst chaos. Their new album serves as a poignant reminder of shared struggles while also highlighting the importance of togetherness.

“To haunt is to revisit or recur persistently to the consciousness of someone or something,” explains guitarist Kristan Dawson. “There’s beauty in that commitment somewhat. In a world full of distraction, discourse, instant demands, patience seems hard to attain. In patience, there is peace, one thing society is short of. The title serves as a call of reflection, relying on the present moment, remembering what truly matters. I think the notion of patience being haunting is quite a contrast and that’s certainly reflective of the album musically.”

Despite its darker themes, “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience” maintains an underlying hope, serving as a reminder that positive change is possible. It encourages listeners to endure through life’s storms, trusting that better days are ahead.

The time the band has taken to cultivate this newfound confidence marks a pivotal moment in their journey. Expanding their reach around the globe, “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience” is poised to be the beginning of a transformative chapter for one of British heavy music’s most dedicated acts.
