The Los Angeles heavy metal band previews its second album with a Margarita Monet-directed visual before the record’s September 18 release.
Los Angeles heavy metal band Death Dealer Union is continuing the rollout of its sophomore album, Dark Sister, with an official music video for the record’s title track.
The “Dark Sister” video was released ahead of the album’s scheduled September 18, 2026 arrival and follows the band’s earlier release of “Cult of the Moonlight.” Together, the tracks offer an early look at the direction of Death Dealer Union’s second full-length release, pairing heavy guitar work with melodic elements and a theatrical approach to the band’s darker sound.
For the accompanying visual, Death Dealer Union reunited with Margarita Monet of Edge of Paradise, who directed the “Dark Sister” video. The project continues an existing creative collaboration between Monet and the band, with the video translating the song’s darker atmosphere into a cinematic setting. Julian Oyanedel Santiesteban handled filming.
Dark Sister was produced by Max Morton and marks the follow-up to Death Dealer Union’s debut release. The upcoming album centers the band’s established combination of heavy metal, melody and theatrical presentation while moving the group into its next phase.
Death Dealer Union currently consists of vocalist Kay Bellows, guitarist Doug Weiand, bassist Brice Snyder and drummer CC McKenna.
The album campaign also coincides with developments on the touring side of the band’s career. Death Dealer Union recently signed with DNA Entertainment Collective for global booking representation and is working with agent Andrea Toler-Wade as the group looks toward expanding its live schedule.
“Death Dealer Union has a powerful sound, strong vision and undeniable presence,” Toler-Wade said of the band.
That live activity will continue shortly after Dark Sister arrives. Death Dealer Union is scheduled to hold an album release show at The Viper Room in West Hollywood on October 8, with Los Angeles band Sapient Scar and Tokyo’s Wendy also appearing. Two days later, Death Dealer Union is set to perform at The Dive Bar in Las Vegas.
Additional tour dates and venues are expected to be announced.
With the title-track video now part of the album rollout, Death Dealer Union has several pieces of its next chapter converging at once: a second record approaching in September, new booking representation and live appearances beginning shortly after the album’s release.
