DED Unleashes Explosive New Video for “Until I Die” Featuring Chris Motionless
Following their gritty return last fall with “Rockstar,” DED—comprising Joe Cotela (vocals), Adam Adamcik (guitar), Kyle Koelsch (bass), and Matt Reinhard (drums)—is all set for a massive 2025. Their latest single, “Until I Die,” now features Chris Motionless from Motionless in White, signaling an electrifying year ahead.
Check out the video HERE.
As Joe Cotela describes, “‘Until I Die’ is a statement about drawing a line for my life. It’s me separating myself from the bullshit. It’s my mission statement to do everything in my power to be the change that I want to see in the world while I am here. It was such an honor to have Chris on this track as a fan of his body of work and as a friend. We met on tour together and he was such a big champion of Ded. He’s true blue just a great human which made him perfect to be on this song. He murdered his parts on this and added a ferocity that only he could have done.”
Both “Rockstar” and “Until I Die” mark a powerful resurgence for DED, after releasing their second full-length album, School of Thought, in October 2021.
DED’s collaboration with indie powerhouse UNFD, which houses bands like ERRA and Crossfaith, has further revitalized their musical journey.

Since their debut with Mis-An-Thrope and its sequel, School of Thought, the Phoenix-based band has been a force to be reckoned with. Infusing elements of nü metal, hardcore, punk, and rock, DED delivers dense, guttural sounds enriched with pop sensibilities. Their music offers hope and self-awareness, addressing societal issues and resonating deeply with younger generations. They’re known more as mythical saviors than anarchic rebels—striving to build a community and offer solace.
With Mis-An-Thrope, DED made a formidable mark, achieving over 25 million streams and gaining top spots on Billboard charts. Their singles “Anti-Everything” and “Remember the Enemy” climbed into the Top 20 at Active Rock Radio. Recognized by SiriusXM’s Octane as “Artist Discovery of the Year,” and getting a Loudwire nomination for Best New Artist, their breakthrough song “Anti-Everything” hit Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 twice.
Following up with School of Thought, DED captivated audiences at major festivals like Aftershock and Louder Than Life, and toured with renowned bands such as Korn and Stone Sour. Their hit “Kill Beautiful Things” reached the Top 15 on radio charts in 2022 and garnered millions of streams and views.
With their eye set on the future, DED fearlessly confronts both internal and external challenges, encouraging strength and awareness. Their deal with UNFD and two dynamic singles unveil an exciting new chapter for this unstoppable band.
