The Five Finger Death Punch tenth studio album arrives alongside a new track, continued chart success, and an extensive North American and European touring schedule.
Two decades after forming, Five Finger Death Punch has added another milestone to its career with the release of its tenth studio album, Legacy. The record became available digitally on July 31, marking the band’s latest chapter as one of modern hard rock’s most commercially successful acts.
The release follows the success of the album’s lead single, “Eye Of The Storm,” which recently became the band’s 18th No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. According to the announcement, that achievement extends Five Finger Death Punch’s record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles in the chart’s 45-year history.
Coinciding with the album’s arrival, the band also shared “Nails In The Coffin,” giving fans another look at the record while the group’s 20th Anniversary World Tour continues across North America.
For founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory, Legacy represents more than simply another studio release.
“This album is our loud and clear answer to the question of whether a band can stay true to the signature sound that has become the soundtrack to millions of fans’ daily lives and still write something new and exciting. Legacy is an absolute monster, an unapologetic monument to how far we’ve come, and a clear signal that we’re not even thinking about slowing down. If you asked me to pick the one record that best represents the essence of this band, I would hand you this one.”
Bathory also reflected on the meaning he personally finds in “Nails In The Coffin,” while noting that vocalist Ivan Moody intentionally leaves his lyrics open to interpretation.
“Ivan never defines the meaning of his lyrics. He doesn’t want to rob the fans of their own interpretation, so a song means whatever it’s supposed to mean to each listener. That’s by design, and I love that about him. But to me, ‘Nails In The Coffin’ is about burying the things that tried to bury us. Every doubt, every prediction that we wouldn’t last, every catastrophe that was supposed to be the last nail in our coffin. 20 years later, we are still here and we’re the ones holding the hammer.”
Legacy arrives during an especially significant period for the band. The current anniversary tour celebrates the group’s evolution from its 2005 formation and the release of its debut album, The Way of the Fist, to becoming an international arena headliner. The setlist is expected to combine material from the new album with the catalog of songs that helped define Five Finger Death Punch over the past two decades.

The North American leg of the tour features Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire on most dates before the band heads overseas in early 2027 for arena performances across the United Kingdom and mainland Europe alongside Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within. Selected European dates will also feature Dymytry.
Beyond the music, the band is continuing its long-running charitable efforts during the anniversary tour. A portion of ticket sales from the 2026 North American run will support high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes preparing for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Bathory has designated USA Judo as his beneficiary, while Moody’s contributions will support USA Cycling’s BMX Racing and BMX Freestyle programs.
Over the course of its career, Five Finger Death Punch has become one of hard rock’s most recognizable names, amassing billions of global streams, numerous chart-topping singles, and multiple Gold and Platinum certifications. The band’s collaborations have included artists such as Brian May, Rob Halford, Rob Zombie, Steve Aoki, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jamey Jasta, Brantley Gilbert, and BABYMETAL, further expanding its reach across multiple genres.
While Legacy serves as the band’s latest studio effort, it also stands as a reflection on twenty years of music, touring, and continued commercial success—arriving at a time when Five Finger Death Punch remains one of rock’s most consistent arena attractions.
