The North American run will introduce drummer Alex Rüdinger and give audiences an early preview of material from the band’s next chapter
Trivium will return to North American stages this fall for an extensive headlining tour featuring In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit for an Autopsy, and Frozen Soul.
The 32-date run begins November 5 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida, and concludes December 19 at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina. The itinerary includes stops across the United States and Canada, with performances scheduled at venues including New York’s Terminal 5, Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, Los Angeles-area YouTube Theater, Denver’s Mission Ballroom, and Toronto’s GCT Theatre.
Tickets went on general sale July 24 following a series of presales that began July 21. The tour remains several months away, giving fans a broad selection of dates across major markets throughout November and December.
Beyond the scale of the lineup, the tour carries added significance for Trivium as the band prepares to move into its next creative period. New music is expected to follow, and the group plans to perform unreleased material during the upcoming shows.
The run will also mark Trivium’s first major touring cycle with drummer Alex Rüdinger, who joins vocalist and guitarist Matthew K. Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, and bassist Paolo Gregoletto in the current lineup.

In Flames’ position on the bill adds historical weight to the tour. Trivium has openly cited the Swedish metal band as an influence on its formative years, making the pairing more than a standard support arrangement. Orbit Culture, another Swedish act, will bring its modern blend of melodic and groove-driven metal to the package, while Fit for an Autopsy and Frozen Soul add deathcore and death metal elements to the lineup.
The tour follows the release of Trivium’s Struck Dead EP in fall 2025 and arrives five years after the band’s tenth studio album, In the Court of the Dragon. Released in 2021, that record continued a catalog that has moved between thrash metal, metalcore, progressive arrangements, and melodic heavy metal.
Trivium’s broader career stretches back to the early 2000s, but the group’s international breakthrough came with Ascendancy in 2005. The album helped establish the band within the era’s emerging metalcore movement and later received gold certification in the United Kingdom.
Subsequent releases produced six consecutive Top 25 appearances on the Billboard 200, according to the band’s announcement, while 2017’s The Sin and the Sentence introduced another turning point in Trivium’s sound. The album included “Betrayer,” which received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Metal Performance.
The band followed with What the Dead Men Say in 2020. Produced by Trivium and Josh Wilbur, the album reached No. 35 on the Billboard 200 and placed within the top three of several rock and hard rock album charts.
Across its touring history, Trivium has shared stages with Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden, while appearing at festivals including Download Festival, Bloodstock Open Air, and Knotfest.
The fall tour now positions the band between its established catalog and whatever comes next. While no title, release date, or additional information about the forthcoming music has been disclosed, the promise of new songs in the set gives attendees an early opportunity to hear the direction of Trivium’s next era before a formal release announcement.
