The Las Vegas hard rock band’s next album arrives digitally July 31, with physical editions following September 18.

Five Finger Death Punch are marking two decades as a band with a new album, a new song, and a major anniversary tour.
The Las Vegas hard rock group has announced its tenth studio album, Legacy, scheduled for digital release on July 31. Physical editions, including CD, vinyl, and cassette formats, are set to follow on September 18. The announcement arrives as the band continues building toward its 20th Anniversary World Tour, which includes a large North American run with special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire, followed by a UK and European arena leg in early 2027 with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within.
Alongside the album news, Five Finger Death Punch have released “De Oppresso Liber,” a new song from Legacy that is currently available with an accompanying video. The track follows “Eye Of The Storm,” the album’s first single, which was released last month and is already Top 5 at Rock Radio, according to the band’s announcement. The single has also generated more than 3.9 million Spotify streams and 1.6 million YouTube views for its official lyric video.
For guitarist Zoltan Bathory, the title Legacy reflects the band’s long road and the experiences that shaped it.

“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests,” Bathory said. “It’s a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we’ve experienced over the last two decades.”
He added:
“What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn’t make it alone. We traveled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other’s lives. That’s an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later.”
Vocalist Ivan Moody said the record is not intended as a purely nostalgic statement, despite arriving during a major anniversary year for the band.
“At the same time, Legacy isn’t about looking backward. 20 years is a milestone, not a destination. We’re incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we’re headed next.”
Moody continued:
“Our philosophy has always been that this journey doesn’t come with a self-imposed ceiling. Every goal we’ve reached simply revealed another horizon beyond it. We never believed the sky was the limit; if anything, it’s where the true journey begins. Here’s to our shared legacy.”
Bathory also described “De Oppresso Liber” as a song rooted in respect for those willing to protect others.
“‘De Oppresso Liber’ is more than just a motto,” Bathory said. “It’s a calling. It’s a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves. Throughout human history, there have always been people who were drawn to accept that responsibility. This song is our way of paying respect to that mindset.”
The announcement places Legacy at the center of a busy stretch for Five Finger Death Punch. Formed in 2005, the band released its debut album, The Way Of The Fist, in 2007 and has since grown into one of modern hard rock’s most commercially successful acts. According to the band’s announcement, Five Finger Death Punch have accumulated more than 15 billion global streams, earned 13 consecutive No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, and collected more than a dozen RIAA certifications.
Their catalog includes multiple Gold and Platinum albums, 30 Top 10 rock hits, and 18 Active Rock No. 1 singles. The band has also collaborated across genres with artists including Rob Halford, Rob Zombie, Brian May, Steve Aoki, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jamey Jasta, Brantley Gilbert, and BABYMETAL.
The 20th Anniversary World Tour is designed to recognize that history while also pushing the band into its next album cycle. The North American portion, produced by Live Nation, officially launches on July 20 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, and runs through October 23 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia. A previously listed casino date took place on June 18 in Mescalero, New Mexico.
The tour will include new material from Legacy alongside songs from across the band’s catalog.
Five Finger Death Punch are also using the tour to support U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes ahead of the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. A portion of ticket sales from the 2026 North American tour will benefit high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
USA Cycling President and CEO Brendan Quirk said the support will help fund preparation opportunities for BMX athletes.
“The support from Five Finger Death Punch means the world to us and our BMX programs,” Quirk said. “As a nonprofit National Governing Body that receives no government funding, we’re already at a disadvantage compared to many of the world’s leading cycling nations as we prepare for the home Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2028. We’re working to raise awareness of that reality and the challenges it creates for our athletes.”
USA Judo CEO Corinne Shigemoto also acknowledged the band’s support.
“We are sincerely grateful to Zoltan and Five Finger Death Punch for their generous support of our athlete programs,” Shigemoto said. “Judo has played a meaningful role in Zoltan’s life, and his decision to give back to the sport in this way reflects a deep commitment to its future. The band’s generosity will have a direct impact on our athletes through expanded high-performance programming as we prepare for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
Following the North American leg, Five Finger Death Punch will head overseas in early 2027 for a UK and European run with Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within. That leg begins January 16 in Manchester, UK, and concludes February 22in Helsinki, Finland.
