Hatebreed Signs With BLKIIBLK Records, Announces New Studio Album for Fall 2026
The hardcore veterans Hatebreed reunite with longtime producer Zeuss for their first album since 2020’s Weight of the False Self as a major summer tour approaches.
Connecticut hardcore powerhouse Hatebreed has entered a new chapter, announcing a partnership with BLKIIBLK Records ahead of the release of its next studio album later this year.
The Grammy-nominated band confirmed that its forthcoming record, produced by longtime collaborator Zeuss, is scheduled for release this fall. The album will serve as the follow-up to 2020’s Weight of the False Self and marks Hatebreed’s first release through BLKIIBLK, the metal and hard rock imprint of Frontiers Label Group.
While the band has yet to reveal the album’s title, track listing, or release date, members have begun sharing their excitement about both the new music and the label partnership.
Frontman Jamey Jasta described the move as an opportunity to begin a new phase for the band.
“BLKIIBLK put together a dream team to get behind the new Hatebreed record and we couldn’t be happier — new label, new horizons, crushing new songs,” said Jasta. “We are beyond grateful and can’t wait to unleash these tracks on the world!”
The upcoming album reunites Hatebreed with producer Zeuss, whose relationship with the band stretches back decades. Zeuss has worked on several key releases throughout Hatebreed’s career and remains a trusted creative partner for the group.
Reflecting on the recording process, Jasta emphasized the longstanding connection between the band and producer.
“One of my favorite things about making this record was working with our brother-in-arms, Zeuss, once again,” Jasta said. “His connection with Matt, Wayne, Frank, Carl, and me goes far beyond the producer’s chair.”
The vocalist went on to highlight the collaborative environment behind the album and referenced several milestones from the band’s catalog, suggesting the new material continues the spirit that helped define tracks such as “I Will Be Heard,” “Destroy Everything,” and “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today.”
The announcement arrives during an especially active period for Hatebreed. According to drummer Matt Byrne, the band is preparing for a packed 2026 schedule that includes festival appearances, international touring, multiple U.S. runs, and the release of the new record.
“2026 is the year of Hatebreed,” Byrne said. “This juggernaut as we know it is picking up the pace rapidly and is taking no prisoners.”
BLKIIBLK Records leadership also expressed enthusiasm about adding Hatebreed to its roster. Mike Gitter, Global Head of A&R for Frontiers Records and Label Head of BLKIIBLK, pointed to the band’s continued relevance and influence within heavy music.

Throughout its career, Hatebreed has appeared at events including Ozzfest, Download Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Warped Tour while sharing stages with some of the biggest names in heavy music. The group’s enduring popularity continues to be reflected in streaming numbers as well, with “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today” approaching 130 million global streams according to information provided in the announcement.
Their most recent album, Weight of the False Self, received positive attention across the heavy music landscape and showcased the band’s continued commitment to balancing hardcore intensity with metal-driven aggression. With a new label partnership now in place and fresh material on the horizon, Hatebreed appears poised to continue that momentum into the second half of 2026.
