Inherited Announces ALL 4 ONE EP, Shares New Video for “Inherited”

Rising Dutch hardcore Inherited outfit channels family legacy, hometown pride, and underground roots on upcoming Mascot Records release

Dutch groove hardcore band Inherited has revealed plans for its upcoming EP, ALL 4 ONE, scheduled for release on October 2 through Mascot Records. Alongside the announcement, the Zeeland-based group has also unveiled the music video for “Inherited,” the first track released from the forthcoming five-song collection.

Although the band only formed in 2024, Inherited has quickly gained attention within the European underground scene. The lineup consists of vocalist Jamie Versprille, guitarists Marvin Wesdorp and Midas Giele, bassist Lucas Camonier, and drummer Neill Ray. Their latest single serves as both a personal statement and a tribute to the influences that shaped them long before the band existed.

According to Versprille, “Inherited” focuses on the importance of family, heritage, and the experiences passed down through generations. The song explores the idea that identity is built upon the people and traditions that come before us, while emphasizing the responsibility of carrying that legacy forward.

That theme has a direct connection to the band’s own history. Bassist Lucas Camonier and guitarist Marvin Wesdorp are sons of members of the longtime Zeeland death metal band Polluted Inheritance, linking the younger group’s modern hardcore approach to a regional metal lineage that stretches back decades.

The sense of identity reflected in the song extends beyond family ties. Inherited frequently points to its home province of Zeeland as a defining influence. Located in the southwestern Netherlands and known for its geographic isolation, Zeeland has become a central part of the band’s message. The musicians have repeatedly emphasized their desire to bring attention to a region they feel is often overlooked, both within the country and beyond.

That local pride has helped foster a strong community around the band. One of the clearest examples came in 2025 when Inherited won the Dutch Metal Battle, earning a coveted performance slot at Germany’s legendary Wacken Open Air festival. Remarkably, the band’s appearance at Wacken was only its sixth live performance. To support the group during the competition, fans from Zeeland filled a double-decker bus and traveled roughly 200 miles to attend the final, underscoring the close-knit support network that has become part of Inherited’s identity.

The upcoming EP was recorded at producer Robin Adams’ studio in Leeds, England. Adams, whose résumé includes work with Architects, Guilt Trip, and Blood Youth, handled production duties, while Adam “Nolly” Getgood of Periphery oversaw mastering.

Across its five tracks, ALL 4 ONE explores themes that have become central to the band’s message: unity, resilience, friendship, and mutual support. Songs such as “Wasted Space” focus on maintaining strong personal connections, while “Won’t Break” centers on empowerment. The title track expands on the band’s communal outlook, encouraging perseverance through difficult times and reinforcing the idea of standing together when challenges arise.

Despite their rapid rise, Inherited remains deeply connected to the DIY spirit that helped launch the group. The band has built its reputation through performances in unconventional spaces throughout the Netherlands and neighboring countries, including skate parks, barbershops, underground bunkers in France, and a youth-oriented chapel in Belgium. At the same time, the group has steadily expanded its reach, moving from grassroots venues to headlining larger club shows and sharing stages with acts including Pro-Pain, Dark Angel, Bodyfarm, and Master.

Festival appearances have also played a key role in the band’s development. Along with Wacken Open Air, Inherited has appeared at events such as Dynamo Festival and South of Heaven, helping establish the young group as one of the more promising names emerging from the Dutch hardcore and metal scene.

Looking ahead, the band is also set to receive additional exposure through BandCamper, a Dutch national television program that will film across Zeeland in spring 2026 while spotlighting emerging musical talent from the region.

For a band still in the early stages of its career, ALL 4 ONE appears positioned as both a statement of purpose and a celebration of the community, family ties, and hometown roots that continue to fuel Inherited’s momentum.

What Fans Need to Know

Inherited’s rise has been unusually fast for a band formed in 2024. With a Wacken Open Air appearance already on its résumé, growing festival exposure, and support from Mascot Records, ALL 4 ONE represents a significant next step for a group determined to put Zeeland’s hardcore scene on the map.
