Danish death metal and metallic hardcore powerhouse LIFESICK has launched their video for the track “Loved By None.” This intense new anthem is part of their album, “Loved By None, Hated By All”, which dropped on November 1st via Metal Blade Records.
LIFESICK is known for crafting brutally honest songs that reflect the chaotic nature of life. Drawing inspiration from Swedish death metal, their sound combines heavy, crushing tones with modern breakdowns, resulting in a unique and uncompromising musical experience.
Regarding their latest single, “Loved By None,” the band shares, “The feeling of being loved by none and hated by all, despite trying your best to be a good person, can be overwhelming. It often feels like the world is trying to bring you down and keep you there. This song is the fastest and most aggressive track on the album, and also one of the shortest. It’s straightforward, bone-crushing hardcore, featuring a mix of blast beats and a groovy breakdown at the end.”

Founded in Fredericia, Denmark in 2015, LIFESICK has steadily increased their weight and intensity over three full-length albums. Their 2023 EP, “Life And Other Lies”, marked their arrival at Metal Blade Records, leading to the creation of the powerful and dynamic “Loved By None, Hated By All”.
As with their previous works, the new album was recorded by Jacob Bredahl at his Dead Rat studio, where he contributed not just as an engineer but also as a creative force, helping to refine the material before recording. “He came down to our rehearsal room where we played all the songs for him live, so he could add his touch to each song or edit stuff that we might have been a little blind to from playing the songs too much. This was the first time we did this, and it was very effective.”
The mixing was entrusted to Taylor Young at The Pit, aiming for a fresh sound that deviates from their earlier releases. Additionally, the noise collective John Cxnnor was brought in to enhance the album with sound design and samples, creating a cohesive atmosphere throughout the tracks.
The result is a powerful testament to LIFESICK’s evolution, with “Loved By None, Hated By All” being hailed as their finest work yet, a remarkable achievement considering the strength of their previous releases.
