Failure 2 Conform

By 8 p.m., Failure 2 Conform hit the stage and instantly energized the crowd. Coming from the lively music scene of Morristown, Tennessee, this punk/metal band has made a big impact since they started in 2020. Their rise in popularity has been nothing short of impressive, drawing in fans with their electrifying performances and unique sound.
With their high-energy performances and exciting setlists, they impressed everyone with their original songs and fun covers. Their music blends punk’s raw intensity with metal’s powerful riffs, creating a sound that’s all their own. One unforgettable moment was their cover of the “SpongeBob SquarePants” theme song, which had the whole audience singing along with enthusiasm. It’s this kind of unexpected twist that makes their shows so memorable.
Known for their infectious energy, Failure 2 Conform never failed to get the crowd moving. Their dynamic stage presence and passionate delivery make each performance an experience to remember. If you haven’t seen them live yet, you’re missing out on one of the most exciting new bands in the punk/metal scene.

Seven Year Sideshow

Next up was Seven Year Sideshow, who hit the stage with a powerful, heavy sound that immediately grabbed everyone’s attention. This rock/metal band from Knoxville, Tennessee, features Chris “Dawg” Wine on guitar, Jimmy Loveday on drums, Andrew Staley on vocals and guitar, and Sam Keys on bass. Their chemistry and stage presence were undeniable from the moment they started playing.
Formed in March 2018, Seven Year Sideshow has quickly made a big impact on the music scene. They re-recorded their debut album, “Careful What You Wish For,” giving it a fresh, polished sound that still captures their raw energy. They also released an EP titled “Truth and Consequence,” which showcases their unique style and high-energy performances. Each track is a testament to their dedication and talent, blending powerful lyrics with heavy riffs and dynamic rhythms.
A standout moment in their set was when they played their soon-to-be-released single, “Living the Scream,” for the packed crowd. The fans went wild, clearly loving the new song. The band fed off this energy, and it was evident they were having a blast on stage. The performance was electric, and it’s clear that Seven Year Sideshow is a band to watch out for in the rock and metal scene.

Psychostick

When it was finally time for Psychostick to take over the stage, the crowd erupted with excitement. This band from Tempe, Arizona, has been blending heavy metal with comedy since 2000, and their fans couldn’t wait to see them live.
Psychostick’s humorous and often absurd lyrics, combined with intense guitar riffs and powerful drumming, create a truly unique musical experience. Their hit song “Beer!” is a perfect example of their style, featuring high-energy tributes to beer drinking, catchy choruses, and hilarious verses. Songs like these have become anthems for fans who appreciate both metal and humor.
One of the wildest moments of the night was the “Sombrero Mosh Pit.” The band asked who the toughest guy in the venue was and put a sombrero on him, challenging everyone else to try and take it from him. The audience couldn’t stop laughing at this crazy stunt, adding to the night’s unforgettable atmosphere.
Psychostick’s live shows are always a riot, filled with costumes, props, and plenty of audience interaction. Their ability to make people laugh while headbanging has earned them a dedicated fan base and secured their place in the world of comedy metal. Whether it’s their funny lyrics, energetic performances, or interactive antics, Psychostick knows how to put on a show that leaves fans wanting more.

The sonic experience left the audience craving more, proving once again that Ember South Entertainment knows how to bring the noise to the heart of Tennessee.

Located on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee, The Open Chord Stage is a hot spot for music lovers and musicians. This venue is not just a place to watch live shows; it also has a music store and café, making it a great hangout. Although the name Ember South Entertainment is relatively new, the management behind this venture has produced shows all over the United States.
