Teen metal sensation Chained Saint is making waves, set to support Alice In Chains on select tour dates this spring. The band, consisting of high school students Ethan Kahn (17, guitar), Sebastian De Avila (18, bass), Cameron Cottrell (19, drums), and Sean Sterling (18, vocals), emerged as one of 2024’s most promising acts. With accolades from Revolver, Guitar World, Loudwire, and metal icon Rob Halford, the band quickly gained a following. Their track “Animosity” was featured in the WWE 2K24 DLC 4 trailer, further cementing their rising star status.
Chained Saint will also be performing at major festivals, including Welcome to Rockville, Rocklahoma, Louder Than Life, and the VANS Warped Tour. Their schedule also includes a supporting role for Mudvayne. As the band states, “Nothing is more exciting to us than playing live in front of a crowd. We thrive on getting people moving and to us that’s how we measure our live shows. We’re extremely grateful for the love we’ve received over the past six months since our debut album dropped, and we can’t wait to get on the road and bring that raw energy to the masses and metal fans.”
Their debut album, “Blindside”, produced by William DuVall of Alice In Chains, delivers a potent blend of ’80s thrash metal with modern-day intensity. Released through Patriark Records, the album stands out for its authentic, analog creation—”No AI. No studio trickery. No bullshit. Just real riffs made by real players.”
