The Veer Union Drop New Single “Empirical”

The Veer Union is set to release a new single called “Empirical” through Rock Shop Records. This track is the first from their upcoming album “Welcome to Dystopia,” which is expected to come out later this year.

“Empirical” urges us to hold on to our humanity as technology advances rapidly and threatens to dominate our lives—if we allow it.

The band shares, “As technology progresses, we in The Veer Union remain hopeful that humanity will come together to pursue freedom and individuality, continuing to push forward and strive for a better future.”

The Veer Union is a hard rock/metal band from Vancouver, BC, Canada. They released their first album independently in 2006 and signed with Universal Records USA in 2008. Their song “Seasons” became a Top 10 Active Rock Radio Single in both the U.S. and Canada. Since then, The Veer Union has gained over 350,000 social media followers, sold more than 200,000 albums, and earned over 180 million streams worldwide. They’ve also had 12 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Rock Radio Charts and amassed 10 million views on YouTube.

Known for their energetic live performances, The Veer Union often plays over 100 shows a year, having opened for bands like RED, Puddle of Mudd, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hinder, Saliva, and Alesana. A North American tour is planned for spring 2025, with dates to be announced early next year.
