Valkyrie’s Fire has shared the official music video for “Cascade,” offering fans another preview of the Nashville symphonic power metal band’s forthcoming debut full-length album, Out of Darkness. The video accompanies the album’s second advance single and arrives ahead of the record’s scheduled September 18, 2026 release through Eclipse Records.

Directed by ProMotion LLC and filmed at Precision Dynamics International in Franklin, Tennessee, the performance-focused video pairs the band’s musicianship with imagery inspired by the night sky. Rather than telling a traditional narrative, the production centers on the atmosphere of the song, using cosmic visuals to reinforce its reflective themes.

According to the band, “Cascade” captures the experience of watching daylight fade into darkness as stars gradually emerge overhead. The song focuses on the quiet beauty of the evening sky, with its visual presentation designed to complement that sense of calm rather than distract from it.

Frontwoman Bettie Floyd explained the creative decision behind the band’s appearance in the video.

“The all-black wardrobe serves as a deliberate visual anchor, letting the brilliant hues of the cosmos take center stage without cluttering the screen.”

Co-vocalist Adam Sanders said the goal was to create an experience that encourages listeners to disconnect from everyday distractions.

“The production deliberately offers viewers a serene visual escape from daily noise, encouraging fans to pause and immerse themselves in cosmic splendor alongside the band’s soaring melodies.”

“Cascade” follows the band’s first singles as part of the rollout for Out of Darkness, a 13-track album that marks Valkyrie’s Fire’s first full-length release after their 2024 EP Ascension. Produced and engineered by guitarist Joey Grimaldi, the album continues the group’s blend of symphonic arrangements, power metal instrumentation, and dual-vocal harmonies.

Among the album’s featured tracks is “Burning Sky,” which includes a guest appearance from Mikael Sehlin of Amaranthe. Sehlin also contributed to the album’s mastering. According to the band, the song explores themes of perseverance through both historical and biblical perspectives, contrasting with the more atmospheric tone of “Cascade.”

Another track, “Evermore,” draws inspiration from the writings of Edgar Allan Poe, reimagining familiar themes of grief as a journey toward hope rather than despair.

The album’s visual presentation also features artwork by Jan Yrlund, whose portfolio includes work for bands such as Battle Beast, Manowar, and Delain.

Based in Nashville, Valkyrie’s Fire has built its identity around combining the orchestral scope associated with European symphonic metal and the heavier edge of the American metal scene. With dual lead vocalists, orchestral instrumentation, and melodic songwriting, the band has drawn comparisons to acts including Nightwish and Epica while establishing its own approach to the genre.

With Out of Darkness scheduled to arrive in September, “Cascade” provides another look at the musical and visual direction the band is pursuing as it prepares to release its first full-length studio album.
