Aviana Unleashes ‘Delirium’ Ahead of European Tour

Swedish metalcore heavyweights Aviana are back with a vengeance. After dominating the scene with their 2022 album Corporation, which racked up over 30 million streams on Spotify, the band returns to their roots with their new single, “Delirium.” Known for their aggressive yet atmospheric sound, Aviana shifts gears, embracing their heavier style once again.

Frontman Joel Holmqvist, the last standing original member, leads the charge. After the departure of former bandmates, Holmqvist has steered Aviana through challenges, continuously pushing the band to new heights. His fierce dedication and relentless drive keep the fire burning.

“Delirium” drops just in time for their role as special guests on The Black Tour 2024, where they’ll be supporting Imminence alongside fellow Swedish band Allt. The tour kicks off on October 5th in Amsterdam and spans 19 dates across major European cities. Aviana fans in places like Sint-Niklaas, Berlin, and Cologne have already sold out their shows, while cities like Munich and Glasgow are close behind.

After making their mark with their 2017 debut Polarize, Aviana faced a turning point with the release of Epicenter, their sophomore album. Despite lineup changes, the band’s sound evolved, blending 90s nu-metal influences with progressive guitar leads and modern breakdowns. Aviana’s new era showcases a fusion of styles that sets them apart in the current metalcore scene.

Collaborating with top-notch producer Jeff Dunne (known for working with Fit for a King, Memphis May Fire, and Ice Nine Kills), Epicenter solidified Aviana as a band to watch. From Limp Bizkit to Deftones, and even Eminem, Aviana pulls from a wide range of inspirations to craft their dynamic sound.

The band’s live resume includes opening for metalcore legends Crystal Lake, performing at festivals like Morecore in Germany, and making their mark at Tokyo’s True North Festival. Holmqvist’s commanding presence, paired with their high-energy performances, makes Aviana’s live shows unforgettable.

As Aviana prepares to take the stage once more, their European trek with Imminence and Allt promises to be one of the most anticipated metalcore tours of the year. Don’t miss them live as they bring their signature heavy sound to fans across the continent.
