Exciting Announcement from Bury Tomorrow!
BURY TOMORROW SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “WAITING” — WATCH
As they gear up for an incredible year, Bury Tomorrow have unveiled the video for their new single, “Waiting.” This comes after a monumental touring run that saw the band perform at their biggest venues yet across the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, and Japan. Their new album, “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”, is slated for release on May 16, promising an impactful addition to their discography.

Frontman Dani Winter-Bates elaborates on the theme of their latest single:
“Waiting is about rebirth, the sense of going through the fire to emerge from the other side. Lyrically speaking, it delves into the lowest points of our lives where everything feels weirdly centered around yourself and in some way your misery, whether that’s loss, self-loathing, or poor experiences.”
He further explains the musical direction:
“Musically, ‘Waiting’ is an opportunity to speed things up, make them more visceral more violent. Whilst there have been heavy singles released so far like ‘Villain Arc,’ this one will feel heavier to many. There’s something slightly more modern about its sound and it’s routed around rhythm and cadence, with a clear aim to hopefully move people as the song progresses.”

Overcoming the challenges of the past two years, from lineup changes to COVID-related delays, Bury Tomorrow has pushed forward with a new direction, thanks in part to the arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast. Together, they crafted 2023’s “The Seventh Sun”, paving the way for their newest release, “Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience”, which promises to capture the band’s most visceral essence.
With production helmed by Carl Brown [Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps], the album delivers a profoundly personal and expansive exploration of emotional and sonic depth. Born from frustration and a disconnect with modern society, the album tackles themes of self-sabotage, anxiety, and the pursuit of peace amidst the chaos.
Guitarist Kristan Dawson reflects:
“To haunt is to revisit or recur persistently to the consciousness of someone or something. There’s beauty in that commitment somewhat. In a world full of distraction, discourse, instancy, and demand, patience seems hard to attain. In patience there is peace, one thing society is short of. The title serves as a call of reflection, relying on the present moment, remembering what truly matters.”
This record represents a collective journey through devastation while offering hope. Bury Tomorrow reveals a new chapter in their story, pushing boundaries and expanding their reach. Their latest work stands as a testament to their resilience and commitment to British heavy music.

Upcoming Tour:
Following the release of “Waiting,” Bury Tomorrow will head to North America for a month-long co-headlining tour with While She Sleeps. Due to high demand, they’re adding an extra date at Pryzm, Kingston with Banquet Records on May 17.
