Deathcore DISTANT outfit shares the latest preview of its upcoming album while revealing an extensive European and UK tour planned for early 2027.
Dutch-Slovak deathcore band DISTANT have announced their next full-length album, Into Despair, while also unveiling its latest single, “All Will Be (N)One,” featuring Ricky Myers of Suffocation. Alongside the track, the band has released an accompanying music video, offering another glimpse into an album centered on deeply personal themes of loss, grief, and perseverance.
According to the announcement, Into Despair is scheduled for release on November 6. The record marks a significant creative direction for the band, with its lyrical focus shifting toward real-life experiences rather than purely conceptual storytelling. The material explores emotional hardship, mortality, and the universal nature of grief through DISTANT’s signature blend of crushing deathcore.
Discussing the new single, the band described “All Will Be (N)One” as a song that examines humanity’s relationship with death and the passage of time. Built around dense atmosphere, punishing riffs, and relentless rhythms, the track gradually intensifies before reaching moments of confrontation. The lyrics move from resisting mortality toward accepting its inevitability, while Ricky Myers’ guest appearance adds another layer of aggression to the song’s bleak subject matter.
The band also characterized Into Despair as its most personal collection of songs to date, explaining that each member drew from their own experiences while writing the album. In a statement accompanying the announcement, DISTANT said:
“Driven by raw honesty and pure emotion, Into Despair is an album born from personal battles and lived experiences. Every song carries pieces of each member’s own journey, with moments of pain, reflection, and resilience woven into a deeply intimate body of work. More than just a collection of songs, Into Despair is a cathartic expression of vulnerability and a reminder that even in our darkest moments, grief is something we all share. It stands as the band’s most heartfelt and authentic statement yet, transforming personal suffering into something universally resonant.”
The release continues an active period for the band. Prior to this announcement, DISTANT issued several songs from the upcoming album, including “Desolation,” “Nothing Left To Hate,” “Spirit” featuring Tyler Beam of The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, and “Rat Torture.” Together, those tracks have gradually introduced listeners to the sonic direction of the forthcoming record.
Beyond the studio, DISTANT have maintained a demanding touring schedule. The group recently completed a European run alongside Sylosis before returning to North America for dates that included several performances with In Flames and Thrown. Their momentum will continue into 2027 as they join Spite, Emmure, and Mauled for the “New World Killer EU/UK 2027” tour.
Since forming through a collaboration between musicians from Rotterdam and Bratislava, DISTANT have established themselves as one of Europe’s notable names in modern deathcore. Their sound blends elements of brutal death metal, slam, beatdown, noise, and orchestral textures into an intensely heavy style that has helped the band build a growing international audience.
With Into Despair set to arrive later this year and another major tour already on the calendar, DISTANT continue to expand on the momentum built through their recent releases and relentless touring schedule.
