The transcontinental trio’s new album arrives October 16 through Solid State Records before the band joins Saosin for a full North American tour.
Save Us have released a video for “Seraphim,” the latest preview of the trio’s forthcoming album, Death To Something.
The 12-track record is scheduled for release October 16 through Solid State Records and was produced by Landon Tewers, vocalist and creative force behind The Plot In You. “Seraphim” introduces one of the album’s most aggressive moments while emphasizing the dynamic contrast that has become central to Save Us’ sound.
The track opens with a heavier, confrontational approach before shifting into a more spacious chorus, moving between screamed vocals and atmospheric melody.
“‘Seraphim’ is the absolute face melter of the record. It has some of the heaviest moments we’ve ever written, and it hits hard right from the start,” vocalist Miguel Owls said. “What makes this one really stand out is the contrast. The verses go full aggression, then the chorus flips everything into this dreamy, almost floating vibe. Vocally, it’s a wild shift from nonstop screaming into something way more atmospheric, and it just works. This one is built for the live show. I already know it’s going to move crowds.”
The new single arrives as Save Us prepare for their most substantial album and touring cycle to date. Following the October release of Death To Something, the band will join Saosin for an extensive North American run beginning October 23 at House of Blues Anaheim.
The tour will continue through November 28, closing at SOMA in San Diego after performances across the United States. Stops include Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Nashville, New York, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and Los Angeles.
Save Us consists of Owls on vocals, guitarist Chris Biddiscombe and drummer Benji Havercroft. The members developed the project remotely across the United States and United Kingdom before meeting in person.
The collaboration began in 2023, when Owls was posting vocal covers on social media while working a factory job in California’s Central Valley. Biddiscombe, who is based in Bristol, England, discovered one of Owls’ Architects covers and contacted him through TikTok.
Despite living more than 5,000 miles apart, the musicians began writing and recording remotely. Owls worked around his factory schedule by waking at 5 a.m. to collaborate with Biddiscombe and Havercroft before beginning his shifts.
The trio completed several recordings before meeting face-to-face. Owls later traveled to the United Kingdom to film a video for “Distance,” a song from the band’s LUCID EP. According to the supplied announcement, the track has since surpassed 2.6 million streams on Spotify.
Save Us followed that project with the EXIST EP in 2024. The band later signed with Solid State Records and traveled to Michigan to record Death To Something with Tewers.
The group’s name reflects how the collaboration arrived at a point when all three members were considering leaving music behind.
“Chris and Benji were both ready to stop doing music,” Owls said. “I was in the same boat. We were all on the edge of letting our dreams go. Out of nowhere, we found each other, went all the way in together, and the band genuinely saved us. We’re always dabbling in emotion, so our goal is to reach you on a human level.”
Death To Something expands that emotional focus across songs including “Chains,” “Last Of Me,” “Mente Fragmentada,” “Bruised,” “Numb” and the title track. The record’s release will be followed one week later by the opening date of the Saosin tour, giving Save Us an immediate opportunity to bring the new material to audiences across North America.
