The California mincecore band’s latest release confronts political unrest through fast, stripped-down songs rooted in anarcho-punk and goregrind.

California mincecore outfit HAGGUS has released its latest EP, The Mincecore Manifesto, through Tankcrimes. The eight-track record is available across vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.

Following the band’s Tankcrimes debut, Destination Extinction, the EP pushes HAGGUS further into the abrasive territory between anarcho-punk and goregrind. The songs favor short, direct arrangements and an intentionally raw presentation, with the band using that stripped-down approach to address political anger and instability in 2026.

Rather than expanding into more technical or polished territory, The Mincecore Manifesto returns to the foundations of HAGGUS’ earlier material. The record centers speed, repetition, distortion, and confrontation, presenting its themes through eight compact tracks built around urgency rather than excess.

Songs including “Decease The Police,” “Fucked Up Future,” “Tyranny And Cruelty,” and “Mincecore Provocateur” reflect the EP’s political focus. Official videos are also available for “Fucked Up Future” and “Decease The Police.”

The release was written and recorded by Hambone, who also performs guitar and vocals in the band. Andrew Solis, whose credits include Nails and Despise You, mixed the EP at Dead Stare Audio. Dan Randall mastered the material at Mammoth Sound, while Digestor of Ghoul created the cover artwork.

The project arrives as another chapter in HAGGUS’ commitment to mincecore’s deliberately primitive and confrontational character. The press materials surrounding the release describe the record as a response to listener enthusiasm for Destination Extinction, while emphasizing a more aggressive and reduced approach to the band’s songwriting.

HAGGUS also completed a brief run of East Coast appearances earlier this month. The band played Baltimore on July 3 and Ridgewood, New York, on July 5, with an additional Philadelphia date listed for July 4 at an unannounced location.

With The Mincecore Manifesto, HAGGUS continues to operate within a niche built around political hostility, extreme brevity, and a refusal to smooth out the genre’s roughest edges. The result is a release aimed squarely at listeners who value physical intensity and raw execution over refinement.
