Album Review: Keith Wallen’s “Infinity Now”

Let’s talk about the incredible artist, Keith Wallen!
Hey everyone! It’s been almost a month since the drop of Keith Wallen’s much-anticipated album, “Infinity Now,” and I have to say, it absolutely lives up to the hype. This album is a fantastic follow-up to his 2021 release, “This World or The Next,” and it’s quickly becoming a fan favorite.
For those who might not be familiar with Keith Wallen, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane. Keith initially made waves as a member of Adelitas Way before joining Breaking Benjamin, where he’s been rocking out for over a decade. He first ventured into solo territory with his single “Four Letter Words” back on June 24, 2014, and since then, he’s been carving out his own niche in the music world. Don’t worry, though—Keith is still very much a part of Breaking Benjamin. His solo work is just an extension of his vast musical talent.
“Infinity Now” is a 10-track masterpiece that beautifully blends genres, offering listeners a peek behind the curtain into Keith’s mind. The album seamlessly merges traditional rock with a pop twist, creating a sound that’s both familiar and refreshingly new. Each track brings a unique emotional experience.
The album’s first single, “Strings,” was released back on January 21, 2024, and it’s a powerful track that set the stage for what was to come. Then came “Headspace Holiday,” released on April 11th—this track is all about the universal need to escape, whether that’s a mental break or for some a literal vacation. “The Wolf,” the third single, slows things down with profound lyrics open to multiple interpretations. It’s a hauntingly beautiful track that resonates deeply.
The album officially dropped on May 3rd, and the wait was totally worth it. Tracks like “Dear Father” and “Don’t Fall Asleep” hit especially hard. I had a personal loss around the time of this album’s release, and these songs provided a surprising amount of comfort. The relatability of Keith’s lyrics is a testament to his songwriting prowess.
The album’s title track, “Infinity,” is a slower, introspective intro that sets the stage for the themes tackled throughout the record. Mental health, self-reflection, and personal growth are all explored, making this album feel incredibly intimate and timely. Keith should be extremely proud of what he’s created here.
Keith Wallen’s music is available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube. Whether you’re a fan of his work with Breaking Benjamin or interested in his solo projects, you can easily find and enjoy his diverse range of songs. Be sure to check it out and experience his incredible talent and versatility for yourself!
I had the pleasure of meeting Keith a bit over two years ago, and he’s genuinely one of the nicest guys in the industry. Seeing his excitement when he signed with Rise Records was infectious, and it’s been amazing to watch his solo career flourish. He’s an exceptionally talented individual, and I can’t wait to see what he does next.
Best of luck, Keith! Your music is a gift.
