The Illinois thrash outfit previews its upcoming Eastern Conquest Tour with a new live performance video from Product Of The Environment.
Illinois thrash outfit MISFIRE has released an official video for “Born To Die,” a track from the band’s current full-length album, Product Of The Environment, which is available now through MNRK Heavy.
Directed by Edgar Castro-Salazar and edited by drummer James Nicademus, the live performance video captures MISFIRE in its natural environment, highlighting the intensity and energy the band has become known for on stage. The clip is the latest visual released in support of Product Of The Environment, following videos for “We Went Through Hell,” “Living The Dream,” “Left For Dead” featuring Rob Dukes of Exodus, and “All Over The Place.”
With the release of the new video, MISFIRE is now preparing to launch its Eastern Conquest US headlining tour, which begins August 24 in Cleveland, Ohio, and concludes August 30 in Detroit, Michigan. Raider will join the trek as direct support for all seven dates.
The upcoming run represents an important milestone for the Illinois band, marking its first headlining tour since forming. According to the group, fans can expect a setlist spanning both of the band’s full-length releases, along with a few surprises reserved for the tour.
“We’re very excited to be doing our first ever headlining run with our friends in Raider. This set will feature songs from the first two albums as well as some special surprises. Stay heavy! See you all soon!”
Released through MNRK Heavy, Product Of The Environment continues MISFIRE’s blend of old-school thrash aggression with a modern edge. The album features guest guitar solos from co-producer and engineer John Douglass, Alex Parra of Paladin, and Rob Cavestany of Death Angel.
The record also showcases artwork by Rick Zesati and is available on CD, LP, and digital formats.
Since its release, Product Of The Environment has earned positive recognition from several heavy music publications. Metal Hammer Germany praised the record as a strong addition for fans of classic thrash, while Heavy Music HQ highlighted its modern take on the genre. Dead Rhetoric also noted the album’s balance of Bay Area-inspired aggression with contemporary songwriting.
With a new performance video now available and the band’s first headlining tour only days away, MISFIRE continues building momentum behind Product Of The Environment as it prepares to bring the record to audiences across the Midwest.
