The LA-based punk band Stormhouse has officially joined the ranks of Wiretap Records, a well-known indie label also based in Los Angeles. To mark this exciting partnership, the band has released their debut single under the label, titled “Crashing Waves.” The track is now available on all streaming platforms and will be featured on their forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled EP, slated for release in October.
In discussing their new single, the band explains, “‘Crashing Waves’ delves into the emotional turmoil of dealing with someone who struggles to understand or express their feelings. Their unresolved emotions, much like crashing waves, would eventually pull them away from the relationship. Instead of being dragged down by their uncertainty, we wanted to turn that experience into a message of reclaiming strength and focusing on self-care. We’re thrilled to be joining the Wiretap Records family! Having been featured on a few compilations, we’re excited to take our musical journey to the next level with all of you.”
