TRIVIUM AND BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE UNVEIL CO-HEADLINING 2025 NORTH AMERICA TOUR
In an exciting announcement, iconic heavy metal bands Bullet for My Valentine (BFMV) and Trivium are set to embark on their co-headlining “The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour” in 2025. This highly anticipated tour will feature special guests August Burns Red at every show, with Sylosis and Bleed From Within joining on select dates.
The tour marks the celebration of two monumental albums from both bands, with Bullet for My Valentine’s “The Poison” and Trivium’s “Ascendancy” reaching the significant milestone of 20 years in 2025. Fans can look forward to experiencing both albums performed in their entirety during the tour.
Bullet for My Valentine expressed their excitement, stating, “We are super excited to announce we are coming back to the USA in 2025 with our friends Trivium, to bring you the ‘Poisoned Ascendancy Tour.’ We’re going to be celebrating 20 years of our debut album “The Poison” and Trivium’s “Ascendancy”. It’s the metal tour of 2025, so don’t miss out.”
Trivium echoed this sentiment, saying, “This is a celebration for the old fans that were there at 9 am at Ozzfest to catch a couple songs from a band in Iron Maiden shirts. It’s for the new fans that have been listening to the deep cuts but never caught them on a recent tour. And lastly, it’s for both BFMV and us to take a moment to reflect on how amazing these 20 years have been, how fast they’ve gone, and how important these albums are for both of our bands. Having August Burns Red, Bleed From Within, and Sylosis joining us only makes this more special. We can’t wait to play “Ascendancy” for you!”
Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on March 30 at PNE Forum in Vancouver, BC, and will make stops in 26 cities across North America, including Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York, before concluding in Raleigh, NC, at Red Hat Amphitheater on May 18.
Limited VIP packages will also be available, including meet and greet opportunities. For more details on VIP packages, visit the official site.
Get ready for a metal experience like no other in 2025!

Additionally, Metal Hammer recognized it as one of the Top 15 in “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the 21st Century.” This landmark album initiated an impressive streak of six consecutive Top 25 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and five successive Top 3 entries on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, culminating in the release of “The Sin And The Sentence” in 2017. This album significantly boosted their streaming figures to over a quarter of a billion.

ABOUT BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE:
Since their formation, Bullet For My Valentine has established themselves as a prominent force not only in the metal scene but across the entire British music landscape. The band experienced early success with albums like “Fever” and “Scream Aim Fire”, and they have continued to captivate fans with later releases such as “Gravity” and their self-titled album from 2021. With over 3.5 million albums sold and countless sold-out performances around the world, they have consistently shown remarkable growth and popularity.
However, it was their debut album, “The Poison”, released in 2005, that truly launched them to new heights. That year, the Welsh metal group transitioned from supporting Funeral For A Friend during their UK tour to headlining those same venues within just a few months. “The Poison”, which debuted at number 21 on the UK album charts, gained significant traction, becoming a late sensation in year-end lists, including a seventh-place ranking on KERRANG!’s “Albums Of The Year,” and has since achieved gold certification.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of “The Poison”, Bullet For My Valentine will team up with fellow heavy metal giants Trivium for “The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour”. This special tour will feature both bands performing their iconic debut albums in full for the final time, bringing an unforgettable experience to audiences around the globe in 2025.
