Haste the Day Makes a Triumphant Comeback with New Single “Burn”
After nearly a decade, HASTE THE DAY, the influential metalcore band from the 2000s, is back on the scene. Their return is marked by the release of a music video for their latest single, “Burn.” The band also recently performed at Furnace Fest.
“Burn” represents the band’s first new release in almost ten years.
“We crafted ‘Burn’ to be a metalcore anthem featuring harmonized guitar melodies, a powerful chorus, and an intense breakdown riff,” shares lead vocalist Stephen Keech. “The lyrics delve into a flawed justice system that prioritizes retaliation over restoration. As our first song in nine years, we aimed to showcase our best musical efforts while shedding light on a crucial issue in today’s polarized society: the more we attempt to undermine others, the more we harm ourselves.”
In other news, Haste the Day is set to co-headline a show with Oh, Sleeper at The Factory in Dallas, Texas, on December 15.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Haste the Day. “Burn” is just the beginning, as the band is currently working on a new album scheduled for release in 2025.
